Our Eco-Commitment

When we launched our stationery studio, one of our main goals was to create sustainable products that use recycled and biodegradable materials as much as possible.

Sustainable materials are not always easy to find and often mean higher costs, but we're proud to have developed an extensive eco-commitment over the years.

	OUR PRODUCTS We use premium 100% recycled paper for 90% of our products The remainder of our products are made with high-quality paper with a minimum of 10% recycled content All our papers are FSC® certified Our envelopes are made of 100% recycled paper Our printing is powered by renewable energy in a waterless printing process that uses VOC-free inks. That means we’ve drastically reduced the water, carbon emissions and petroleum-based supplies used to make our products.
	OUR PACKAGING At the beginning of 2020 we stopped packaging all online orders in plant-plastic and regular plastic sleeves. That includes all our products, like cards, prints and calendars. Instead, we have been using kraft paper sleeves and tissue paper. Every order ships in a sturdy kraft mailer to ensure safe delivery. Instead of plastic packaging tape we use kraft paper tape, which can be recycled with shipping boxes. Instead of printing new info/thank you cards for online orders that likely go straight into the recycling, we use some of our beautiful scrap paper with a special stamped message from us. Reducing and reusing at the source!
	PACKAGING FOR WHOLESALE We're excited to be able to offer a sleeve-free alternative to our wholesale friends. Our card bands are made out of paper, translucent and nearly invisible. Locally produced and fully recyclable they are a low-carbon and low-waste option to sleeves. If you're not ready to make the switch to unsleeved cards, we continue to offer our biodegradable sleeves.
